Hello. My name is Isaac Shabtay, 32 years old from Ontario, Canada. I have set this blog up to document my journey following Mark Knopfler’s “Get Lucky” tour during the spring‐summer of 2010. This is in much the same way I did for Knopfler’s 2008 “Kill to Get Crimson” tour (see the “Links” section), except that this time, I will be following the entire tour—starting April 8 in Seattle, Washington, and ending July 31 in Gredos, Spain. Similarly to before, though, you are more than welcome to sit back, relax, read and comment. All comments, positive and negative, are welcome. You can also subscribe to the blog’s RSS feed (see links at the right‐hand side of the screen), so new posts become available through your favorite RSS reader. Have fun, Isaac

It’s Coming…

A bit patience guys—the last & concluding blog entry will be posted by tonight. It’s going to be a bit long so bear with me, as it contains the description of the last concert day, as well as a few topics I decided to leave for the last post. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

  1. Why don´t extend the blog with some post-tour posts? I mean, the week between the end of the tour and your travel back home, and how is to get back to home, work, life after so many time out. It sounds interesting at least to me. Cheers! Julio

  2. Cruel: you leave us hanging :-)

  3. Was good your fish made dinner? (served by Guy and Mr. Cummings, both loves kissing girls). I think it wasn´t he way to go with your recognition.

  4. Shalom, Isaac! Thank you very much for your notes & pictures! Through your blog I was able to experience all shows on this wonderful tour. Your writing style is excellent, & will buy the book if/when it comes out. Also I hope you will come up with some new musical compositions, being a guitar player. "STP" is a special song. people who travel many miles to achieve their dreams will understand. To finish, I think you are wise beyound your years, & will not take fals/crazy/mean comments about yourself too close to heart. Very best to you & hope for new developments soon! Alex

  5. Those of us who did not study Arts really struggle with social differences. I could see you struggling, glad you won.
