Intro

Hello. My name is Isaac Shabtay, 32 years old from Ontario, Canada. I have set this blog up to document my journey following Mark Knopfler’s “Get Lucky” tour during the spring‐summer of 2010. This is in much the same way I did for Knopfler’s 2008 “Kill to Get Crimson” tour (see the “Links” section), except that this time, I will be following the entire tour—starting April 8 in Seattle, Washington, and ending July 31 in Gredos, Spain. Similarly to before, though, you are more than welcome to sit back, relax, read and comment. All comments, positive and negative, are welcome. You can also subscribe to the blog’s RSS feed (see links at the right‐hand side of the screen), so new posts become available through your favorite RSS reader. Have fun, Isaac

The Reason Why You Haven’t Seen Comments Posted for the Last Little While

Stupid blogger.com. For some reason, turning on “comments moderation” and “show word verification” results in comments being accumulated in my blogger.com account, but no email is sent to me for actually publishing or rejecting!

Just logged in to the dashboard by accident. 19 comments awaiting approval!

All will be published over the next few minutes. Sorry about that.

Cheers,
Isaac

Update, a few minutes later: OK, found the problem. From now on I will get those comment moderation notices by email. All non‐spam comments will be published. Thank you.

  1. Hi Isaac,

Anon. here again regarding the filming, etc. Yes, it was meant as constructive criticism. I've enjoyed your blog, and I think your writing has gotten quite good in ways. (love some of the one liners). The photos are fabulous too.
Reconsidering my stance in previous comment I wonder that it didn't sound a little heavy handed. As I said, we know your position about the filming. And as I also said, it doesn't take much for some to justify it. Sometimes when one thinks something won't amount to much..it does...just multiplies. See where I'm going?
Safe travels and thanks for your response.
    Enjoy!
